The M47 was a United States Navy (USN) and US Army used WW2-era 100 lb (45.4 kg) class thin-walled smoke aerial bomb. The M47 was fitted with the M108 or M126 series of nose impact fuzes, a central explosive burster, and filled with white phosphorus (WP).
