The RGD-5 (РГД-5) is a Soviet-era-developed, Russian Federation, high explosive fragmentation (HE-frag) defensive hand grenade. The RGD-5 was developed to replace the World War One-era developed F-1 (Ф-1) hand grenade, and later hand grenades such as the RG-42 (РГ-42).
